Our Work Together

Being human is hard, and is only made harder by the many challenges life can throw your way. In our work together, we will build insight into what patterns you use to navigate life’s challenges, how you learned those ways of being, and how they aren’t working for you now. Through this insight, we will build up your compassion for yourself while finding new tools that will leave you feeling more satisfied, capable, and connected in your life. As a relational and psychodynamic therapist, I will pay particular attention to the relationships and experiences in your early life, ways you’ve learned to deal with emotions, and how these foundational patterns show up in your present life, current relationships, and in our work together. Informed by my own experiences of difficulty and loss, I will approach you with the empathy, care, and honesty needed to build a trusting relationship in which you can safely explore yourself, grow more connected to yourself and others, and practice new ways of doing things so you can move forward in living a life of meaning.
